STUDENT OF THE MONTH - JUNIOR HIGH
The following JR High students have been selected for STUDENT OF THE MONTH.  Congratulations to all! Each student received a complimentary Papa Gino's pizza.

Students Return to School on January 3, 2012
All students will return to school on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 - Tuesday will be a " B" Day

There will be a scheduled Half-A-Day of school on Wednesday January 4th, 2012.  We will run the following schedule:  C, D, E, F....All students will be released at 10:50 a.m. 

Thursday, January 5th, 2012  will be a "D" Day.

There is no school on Friday, January 13th and Monday January 16th.

January 9, 2012.  The Junior High is not required to participate in Mid-Term Exams however, they will follow the same schedule outlined below

UPDATE ON OUR SCHOOLS

Representatives from the project manager firm of RFWalsh Collaborative and the architectural firm of Dore & Whittier presented the current conditions of PAE and BHS and possible options to solve our building needs to the community.

HAVING TROUBLE LOGGING INTO POWERSCHOOL
We had an update recently to our powerschool system.  If you are experiencing difficulty logging in, try the following steps

In the toolbar find the word SAFETY.  Click on the carrot and scroll to DELETE BROWSING HISTORY.  UNCHECK the first box.  CHECK the remaining boxes.  Click DELETE.  Once the “deleting process” finishes you should be able to access PowerSchool.
HELPFUL INFORMATION
            STUDENT SCHEDULES AND ON-LINE GRADE/HOMEWORK:  All student information in grades 7-12 are available on-line via PowerSchool.  If you have missplaced your password information, you can call our Guidance Department Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 12:00pm at 508-943-8552 x-22.    If you do not have access to the internet, you can stop by the school and we can print you a copy. 

INCOMING STUDENTS:    We hope all incoming Students new to Bartlett had a great experience on their first day.  The Bartlett Staff is committed to ensuring all students have a great educational experience throughout their time at the school.  If your child needs any assistance with lockers, transporation information, or  help with locating their classrooms, etc., they are welcome to ask one of their teachers for assistance or come to the Main Office and we will guide them what they may need.  Please be sure to review with your child how they will be going home at the end of the school day.  The Bus Routes and Bus Numbers are available on line for clarification on the appropriate bus number. 

DISMISSAL / ABSENT FROM SCHOOL

ABSENT FROM SCHOOL:  If your child will be absent from school you must call your child out of school by 9:00 am.  You can contact the Main Office at 508-943-8552 x-13.  Any student who will be out of school for more than 5 consecutive days should provide a doctors note to the Main Office.  If you child is not out for 5 consecutive days for a medical reason, a note from a Parent/Guardian should be provided to the Main Office.

DISMISSAL OF STUDENTS:  Any student needing to be dismissed from school should send a note indicating they will be dismissed.  All notes should be turned into the Main Office before or after homeroom. Notes should identify the student, greade, time of dismissal and a contact number so the note can be confirmed.  All notes must be confirmed before the student can be dismissed.  You are welcome to call the main office as well for dismissals at 508-943+8552 x-13.  Students must be signed out at the Main Office by a Guardian unless alternate arrangements have been made.  We appreciate your cooperation in working with us on the dismissal process as this is for the safety of the student. 
UPDATES At the High School
Main Entrance:  The Main Entrance is now located infront of the Auditorium doors.  We hope you will find this area to be Welcoming and more user friendly when comng to the school.

Security System:  A new camera system has been installed throughout the building.  Cameras are located at all entrance and exit doors within the school, in the cafeteria, the gym, library and through-out the hallways.
